Koraris chuckled and nodded his head. "Okay, my fiery friend." he answered jokingly. "Can I join you?" he asked. She probably hadn't noticed, but he was in his bathing suit. It wasn't like he was going to try anything in the hot tub, but he could feel the steam carressing his skin, and it made his skin feel cool. He wanted to get in. The warmth was very inviting.
Oh, and her being in there didn't disgust him either. No, she was just a nice plus. A bonus, if you will, although he loved having her in there. "Sorry about, Akira, by the way. She's thought that way ever since she came here, probably three or four years ago. She was a gift" he shuddered at the words, [/b]" From my parents. Thoughtful, huh?"[/b] he asked sarcastically. Kora hated it whenever his parents have him slaves as a gift. He didn't want slaves. He wasn't that kind of person, or beast, or whatever. He was a nice guy.[/size][/blockquote]

Kikio glanced up at him when he asked to join her. Smiling softly, she nodded, scooting over towards the back to make room so he could get in. She had an easy feeling that he wouldn't try anything on her. For one, he wasn't that stupid and knew that she would kill him if he tried it. Second, he wouldn't disrespect her like that. Hopefully. Running her fingers through her metallic blue hair, she blinked her ivory eyes and leaned back in a new seat.
When he began apologizing about Akira, Kikio only shook her head. "Don't worry about it. One day I'll get my chance to take care of her." she said, smirking. "Some gift. They must really care about you." Kikio muttered sarcasticlly. Feeling the sun beating down on her back, she closed her eyes and sighed, allowing it to tan the skin.

Koraris watched as she leaned her head back, revealing her neck to the sun's rays. "Yeah, they thought that they were being nice. I just don't understand it though. They're my parents, shouldn't them know how I feel about these things. I make my views on it rather clear." Kora said shaking his head. He just really didn't understand his parents. Parents are suppose to get you, at least the basics of how your mind works.
Shaking his head with a sigh, he looked at Kikio again and smiled. "Please, if you're going to mess with Akira, please don't tell me about it. She may be weird, and delusional, but in some weird way, she's still my friend. I know, it confuses me too..." he finished in a mutter. If Kikio was going to do something to Akira, then he didn't want to know about it. It wasn't like he could stop her even if he did though, and he wasn't going to even try.
Akira brought it upon herself, and plus, he was a total pushover when it came to Kikio. Turning his icy blue eyes back onto her he watched her as she moved, but not in a perverted way, and not in a way that would weird her out, just in a normal, 'there's nothing else for me to look at' glance.

Kikio shrugged. "Maybe their trying to change you." she said, glancing up at him. Kikio's parents always got her. They always knew what she wanted, and when to stop aggrivating her. It was actually pretty cool. Licking her lips to moisten them, she looked down at the water and sighed.
"Sure." Kikio said, still not looking. She could easily feel his eyes on her and it made her slightly self concious. I mean come one. Wouldn't you be self concious if some hot guy was looking at you? Uh. Yeah. Tucking her metallic blue hair behind her ear, she looked up at him.

He smiled down easily at her when she looked up at him. "Of course that's what they're doing." he chuckled. "What, you thought they were just forcing people on me for no good reason, or to get on my nerves? No, that's been their plan all along, they've wanted me to change. Go to the dark side, if you will." he chuckled again. It was obvious that they hadn't gotten through to him. He wasn't going to change into some inconsiderate psycho b.astard master. No, if that ever happened, pigs would fly.

Kikio chuckled softly, blinking her ivory eyes. Sweat began to bead at her brow and she stood up. "I think I'm gonna go hop in the pool. To hot for the boiling pot now." she mumbled. Walking to the deep end, she held onto the edge and let herself slide in. Going clear to the bottom of the eight foot, she pushed off the bottom and launched herself to the surface. "I wish it was warm like this everyday. The cold aggrivates me." she said, not bothering to care if he heard her or not. Going into the four foot she stood and sighed, letting the water lap against her waist.

Koraris chuckled at how she worded her statement. The boiling pot, that was a good one. Rolling his eyes once, not at her, just at nothing, he turned and watched her, with his arms crossed comfortably across his chest, as she slipped into the pool. One of these days, when she was more comfortable with him, he would have to try something..
He smiled down at her when he heard her last sentence. "You actually can get use to the cold, or so I've found out. My pack and I had been forced to move from the grasslands to the tundra at one point a few years ago. At first it was really cold, but then our short haired pelts thickened, and we just got use to the weather, and it wasn't nearly as bad. The creatures and humans on this planet can just about adjust to anything, I've found out." he said with a smile. In that last sentence he hadn't been talking about recent events, he was talking about climate-wise, and other things, but it kind of went for this too, although he hadn't been thinking in that direction when he was talking.
"I have to say though, the sun does feel nice. This...this I really missed in the tundra, there was practically no sunlight there..Very cold." he murmured looking straight up at the sun. It really didn't bother him at all to stare up at the bright star, he did it alot, and besides, his cat-like vision almost seemed to never be affected by different lights. "If it helps though, it stays rather warm in this vacinity." he added after a moment with a light shrug and a smile as he returned to his happy self again.

Kikio listened to his rambling but didn't pay attention. Waiting until he was finished talking, because she didn't want to appear rude, she ducked underwater and propelled herself to the 14ft range. Flipping beneath the water, she pushed off the wall and made it clear back to the 3ft in no time. Standing, she didn't even gasp for breath, she just breathed normaly. The glimmer of the water off her shaped body would make any man's jaw drop. It would make female models envy her. Running her fingers through her fingers through her metallic blue hair, she blinked her ivory pools.
"Wanna go into town with me later? I don't feel like going alone and your really the only 'friend' I have." she asked, looking him directly in the eye, standing in the waist deep water. Hopefully he would, because she wanted to go to the club and not have to worry about running errands every two seconds. It would be nice. She could already feel the burn of alcohol. Waiting for his answer, she sat on the water emerged steps and leaned against the wall.

Koraris blinked in surprise when she stood up suddenly. His face suddenly closed off as he watched her with a cautious expression. After a moment though, he got over the initial shock of how...drop dead gorgous she looked, and he smiled easily at her, the mask falling away. He listened intently as she talked nodding the whole while, his smile growing more pronoucned.
"Okay. Yeah, that'd be fun. Let me guess, you want to go to the club?" he asked her. "But yeah, sure, I'll go." he answered, glad that she considered him a 'friend.' It was a start at least. Hopefully within a few weeks he would be a true friend to her, not just a partial one. One that she wasn't quite sure if she liked yet, hopefully she would realize that he wasn't trying to trick her, and he wasn't scheming to hurt her or something like that.

Kikio smiled softly when he said that he would. "Probably. I haven't been able to actually hang out there... It'll be nice." she said softly. Walking over to her shorts, she pulled her Instinct out of her pocket. "Its a good thing we still have electicity or my phone wouldn't work." she said smirking. Tapping the screen, she saw that it was 8:45 PM. "Hm... I'm going to go get dressed and we can leave then?" she questioned, but knew he would agree. Gathering her clothes, she walked back into the house and into the nearest bathroom.
Walking out from the bathroom, she looked at her cell phone and checked the time. Almost 9 o'clock. Walking out the front door, she stood there and crossed her arms. She didn't bother with her cape, so she was only wearing her regular outfit, and she looked hot. For one, she still had some black eyeliner and that around her white eyes was amazing. Plus the mascara on her ivory lashes made them longer and stood out like crazy. Looking around for Koraris, she smiled softly.
Blinking, she frowned. Was she crushing on him? Well what do you expect? Her teenage horomones were coming back into play and she was single and he was hot. Pursing her lips, she crossed her arms. Maybe she could just let herself like him...

ooc// yes. yes, that is exactly what she should do!!!
bic// When Kikio walked out of the bathroom just a few minutes later, the change was drastic, but the effect was the same. Koraris's jaw dropped when he saw her, but he snapped it back up and got control of himself before she turned to look for him. He smiled at her when she met his gaze, his eyes were soft, a bright vivid blue. He looked at her slightly confused when she frowned at him, but he did nothing and smiled again slightly. "Ready?" he asked softly after he was at her side.
Looking down at her he felt the urge to grab her hand or something, but it was a crazy thing. Suicidle. She would totally kick his a.ss if he tried to do something like that. Maybe later, when he felt like dying. Of course, it would be totally worth it, but still, he didn't think he had a death wish. But who knows, maybe he did. Maybe this whole thing, liking her, trading for her was his way to say that he was ready to die. Who knows.

"Sure. Lets go." she said, shifting into a snow leapord as she said it. Pushing off with her lean hindquarters, she broke into a gallop and surged off towards the town. A challenging growl erupted from her throat, daring him to race her there. Kikio knew exactly what he was, he was a cheetah, and so was she. She was every big cat alive and extinct. Strong, and powerful. Pinning her magestic ears against her skull, she continued running, waiting for him to pass her for her to really put on the speed.

Koraris could feel the challenge in the air before she had had the chance to let of a growl of her own. It was as though challenge had a taste of its own, he could taste the emotion in the atmosphere around him, and he used it to his advantage, it fed his hunger, his hunger to run. Eyes burning like blue fire, his body shifted and transfigured into it was not completely human, but not completely animal. His feet had turned into large paws, porpotions so that it looked liked almost an alongated cat foot, it matched his size. Tuffs of fur appeared on numorous places on his body, along his arms and legs - underneath his jeans - and places like his neck. Large cheetah ears sprouted from his head, they were just so cute and fluffy that it would make anyone want to pet them.
Along with that, his tail appeared but when he morphed back into a human, his jeans would be all in one piece. It was in this form that he started to run, and it was in this form that surprisingly, he looked just as hot - maybe even hotter - as he was as a human. A large, cat-like grin appeared on his face as he shot forward at the pace of a cheetah, but extended, different. It was the speed of a cheetah with the added bonus of the speed of an olympic runner. As he ran, his vivid eyes watched as the distance between the two became closer and closer. His ears were pinned back against his head to allow more speed, and his tail snapped back and forth in the rough wind as he moved gracefully forward. To anyone out of the race looking in, he would be a blur, maybe even nonexistant. Soon he was at her side and he turned his head to grin back at her, his blazing blue eyes connecting with her for a second, as he continued running. He had always loved this form, the speed, the...newness of the body. A body that was amazingly good looking, or so he had been told.

Heh heh. Watch out pretty boy. You've got a big suprise coming. she thought, smirking. As she ran, she pushed on faster, her legs gathering beneath her and launching her forth. As she ran, her body shifted. Her pelt turned spotted and the base color a tan color. Matching Koraris's. The fur shortened and her legs and body lengtened. Kikio grew leaner as she let her knew length of legs take in and she jetted past Koraris like he was at a dead stop.
Turning sharply around a corner, her claws dug into the pavement and left white scratches on it. Baring her razor sharp teeth, Kikio flicked her tail and surged on. "Come on Koraris. Your the cheetah." she growled, a low rumbling chuckle erupting from her chest. It was amazing how fast she was, how her legs moved as a blur, and it seemed not even the power of light could keep up. It was just... Wow. Cutting through a tall pit of grass that towered over her shoulders, she tore through it and leapt over a six foot fence, clearing it easily.

Koraris watched after her unsurprised. He had guessed what she had been planning. It wouldn't have made sense for her to challenge a Cheetah to a race. That was just stupid. He grinned after her and when he heard her words he barked out a laugh, it was a divine thing, heaven sent. It rolled out of him smoothly like water flowed through a river, it was a spectacular sound, even to the coldest of people. Did she really think he was going at full pace. He was an Olympic runner Cheetah right now, but that was his full potental, that was actually his minimum, but would it really be worth it to beat her? Would she just get angry?
As he thought about this, he kept on going at his own -now- slow pace, letting his mind wander as he thought. Yes, she was getting farther and farther away with ever second he hesitated, but did that mean he was sure to lose? No. Never. He grinned again, and for just one fraction of a second, his gate wavered as he launched himself forward. It was almost like he had tripped, but now, he had sent himself flying forward, face towards the ground. His hands, now- suddenly - spotted with elongated fingers, a rough pad on the bottom and long claws - too long for a normal cheetah body - shot out and suddenly he was running on all fours, but still in his noncatagorized body. The body that either belonged in both the animal and human world or neither. His grin grew more pronounced, more feline as his speed more than quadropled [sp?]. It was enough.
Kikio thought she knew what faster than the speed of light was, but she didn't know what it truely was because she had never experienced it. A protective film slid over his intense sapphire orbs to absorb all of the wind that could now seriously damage his eyes if they weren't covered. His tail instinctivly wrapped around his waist, and he let his eyes widen, taking in speed that truely beat even sound. The world closed off around him, almost winked out of existance as he suddenly found himself deaf and blind. Well, almost blind. The film over his eyes did more than just keep the wind out, it also allowed him to see through the blackness. He could see the flashes of light disappear behind him just as quickly as his mind registered where they were, so at least from this he could tell where things were around him. The different contrasts helped him to figure out where everything was.
He revelled in the feel of his muscles working under his skin, his human pelt. This was a feeling he wouldn't trade his life for. One that only the few, the lucky could ever experience. Within seconds, no, less than that, it was like one millisecond he was almost a mile away from her and the next she was more than a mile ahead of her. It was a good thing the club was so far away, otherwise this race wouldn't work. At that point, he came to an abrupt halt and he rose to two feet. His body was still in this shape, but it fit him, it worked for him, and it worked well. Running a clawed hand through his wind blown hair he waited for her to catch up with a light smile on his face, not a bragging one, just a smile. It was almost sheepish. He'd gotten too caught up in the game. He'd gotten carried away with himself.
He was already standing at the fountain a few yards or so from club, and surprisingly - well, maybe not at the speed he had been traveling at - no one had seen him arrive, they were actually looking at him curiously now, wondering how he'd just kind of suddenly appeared there.
